Paxton Butler Voice
Ready to bring your projects to life.
My name is Paxton Butler, and I’m here to bring your characters to life or to give you a quality voice over for your commercials. Below, you will find my professional animation and commercial demos so you can see just what I can bring to a booth.

I was professionally trained by Michael Yurchak after being invited to the SuchAVoice program by Lisa Foster.
How I got started
And the push I needed
Ever since I was a kid, I had always done voices to either entertain myself or others. Countless times I was told, "You should do cartoons!" or "You should apply at (Insert famous cartoon studio here)! You're really good at it!" Those comments were always flattering, but I never acted on it. I just figured everyone was being nice.

I kept doing voices, making up my own or doing some impressions, and as the years went on, the compliments and comments always stayed the same. It was always nice to hear, but I still never considered a career in doing voice acting. That is, until one day, I decided I'd give in thanks to my sister telling me, "You know, you haven't tried it yet, so how do you know you're not good?" With that question, I decided to take action, and that's when things changed.

The following day, I walked down to my local community college and found a class that was being hosted by Lisa Foster, which at the time I didn't know was actually for her to scope out talent and invite people to take professional classes to become professional voice actors. I was ready and eager when I got in. I volunteered to do a mock reading, I took diligent notes on beginner studio grade equipment, and then it was time to do a sort of mock commercial. It was that mock commercial that changed my mind completely about pursuing a voice acting career.

I believe it was about a few hours after the whole class was over that I got an email from Miss Foster giving me, a person who had never professionally done anything, that I was perfect for voice over work. "Good breath control. Nice flow. Took direction very well. Soothing tone of voice." I almost thought she sent it to the wrong person. When I accepted her offer of giving me a call so we could discuss taking classes under her program she was recruiting for called SuchAVoice, I didn't doubt it anymore. She called for me, and I was ecstatic! Of course, my sister didn't hesitate to say "I told you so."

After an unfortunate personal event, I inherited enough money to get exactly what I wanted from the program, as well as enough to pay for the equipment I would need as well. And very soon after, I was under the coaching and schooling of Michael Yurchak, a man who has been in the industry and is quite honestly the most patient and understanding person I had the pleasure of ever really learning under. Multiple one-on-one classes and a car ride to Burbank to record two professional demos later, I had officially been able to call myself a voice actor.
